Hiawatha Smith is the incoming editor of English Leadership Quarterly. Under his leadership, Hiawatha aims to enhance the journal by publishing content that honors practitioner voices and showcases ideas that readers across diverse educational contexts can apply. He is committed to connecting theory to classroom realities while centering equity, vulnerability, and the transformative potential of literacy leaders.
